Join Nat from Hackney Herbal for a talk about the garden spaces at Trowbridge Gardens. We'll be talking about our planting philosophy and the work that we do here. We'll explore some of the plants growing and talk about the roles they play focusing on the theme of edible and medicinal plants as well as those that are important for wildlife and biodiversity.
Address: Trowbridge Gardens, 1 Trowbridge Road, Hackney Wick E9 5LD.
This is part of Open Studios taking place across the whole site at Trowbridge Gardens as part of Open House weekend. Find out more about what’s happening in the gallery and studio spaces here. The gardens and gallery will be open to visit 12-5pm

Open House
The festival is a two-week celebration of London’s homes, architecture, and neighbourhoods, running between 6th and 17th September. It’s a fantastic chance for people to get to know their neighbourhood better and to discover hidden gems, new architecture and historic spaces that might not normally be accessible, and for building owners and designers to showcase their unique projects and spaces to wider audiences. Previous years entrants have included artists’ studios, workspaces, cultural spaces, religious buildings, historic buildings, private homes, as well as events such as walking tours. The focus themes this year are ‘access’, ‘learning’ and ‘celebration’ - https://open-city.org.uk/open-house-festival-2023.
