To celebrate Earth Day, we’ll be hosting a free drop-in event showing you how to grow your own herbs at home in an earth friendly way. We’ll be showing you how to up-cycle waste into plant pots so you can sow some seeds to take home.
Come and see the garden in its late spring glory and pick up some plants for your own garden. We’ll have a range of herbs, flowers and edible plants as well as some house plants suitable for indoor growing.
Join us for a spring seed swap! You don’t have to donate seeds if you don’t have any, you can come and collect some seeds. The Herb Garden will also be open and we will have herbal tea, cakes and some plants for sale. Please bring a cup/mug for tea to help us reduce waste at the event! This is a free event open to all.
We will be having a little get together in celebration of Imbolc - the Gaelic festival marking the halfway point between the winter solstice and the spring equinox. We’ll have warm drinks, hot soup and a fire to keep us cosy!
Join us for a free drop-in Herbal Tea Blending Workshop on Wednesday 19th November, 12-2pm at the Home of Impact Store in Boxpark Shoreditch. The workshop will introduce you to a range of medicinal plants and how these can support your wellbeing. There will be an opportunity to make a few herbal teabags to take home.
Join us to celebrate our 10th Birthday. We will be celebrating with a special Communi-tea Party. There will be herbal teas, cake, music and free herb and craft activities for all ages.
Join us in the garden for an open evening put on by our lovely Nature Club group. It’s a lovely opportunity to be in the garden during the long and balmy evenings of summertime. There will be light refreshments, herb products and plants to buy, talks and workshops and also a raffle. This event is a fundraiser for the group.
Join us for our our July open afternoon in the garden. It’s a lovely time to come and hang out in the garden in all its high summer glory. We will have our selection of herbal teas and cake for sale. There will also be a selection of plants available for purchase on the day as well as our herbal tea packs, pamphlets and journals. There will be a drop-in Cyanotype/ Sun-printing Workshop between 3-4pm provided that the sun is out and shining. We are also going to run a Plant Swap as part of the event.
We are excited to be collaborating with Mike’s Table for a special summer solstice supper club and herbal workshop. Together we’ll be celebrating the longest day of the year and official start to summer on the 21st June at Trowbridge Gardens in Hackney Wick. The event is being hosted by the garden’s on-site cafe, Thingy Cafe.

The exhibition runs from 22nd August to 22nd September in the gallery at Trowbridge Gardens, 1 Trowbridge Road, E9 5LD. You can visit daily between 9am - 4pm. We’ll be having a little soft opening on 22nd August, 6-8pm.
