We are having a Garden Open Afternoon on Saturday 31st August 2:30 - 5:00pm.

We will have a selection of lovely herbal teas and some delicious vegan cookies for sale for you to enjoy during your visit. Please bring a cup or mug to help us avoid disposable cups. You’ll also be able to purchase our herbal tea packs, Herb Journals and our Enjoying Wild Herbs pamphlet. There will also be a small selection of plants for sale and we’ll be offering some great bargains!

The event will take place in the Herb Garden at Trowbridge Gardens - entrance on Trowbridge Road.

It’s also an opportunity to visit our exhibition that takes place in the gallery at the garden. A healing space for connection and community - an exhibition by Hackney Herbal’s Nature Club.

Nature Club started in 2021 and is a weekly session for people living or working in Hackney who want to spend time connecting with plants, wildlife and local green spaces. A big focus of the group is learning together, sharing experiences and creating a welcoming, safe and supportive space. Members of Nature Club have put together the exhibition to showcase what they get up to each week and share with you their passions for the natural world.
