Join us for an open afternoon at our garden in Hackney Wick in celebration of the summer solstice. We will have a mix of free activities for all ages including seed sowing and nature craft activities.

There will be herbal tea blends and cake to enjoy and we will have a small plant sale as part of the event. Keep an eye on this page for updates closer to the event.

We are trying to minimise the use of disposable cups so please bring your own mug for drinks. 

The event will take place outdoors at Trowbridge Gardens (in Hackney Wick)  - in both the Herb Garden (entrance on Trowbridge Road) and the Big Garden (entrance on Chapman Street).

Event Schedule

2.30pm - 5.30pm Garden Opens - Herbal Tea, Cakes, Plant Sale in the Herb Garden

3.00pm - 5.00pm Drop-in Workshops in the Big Garden:

• Seed Sowing

• Sun Printing - Make a Nature Cyanotype 

5.30pm - 6.00pm Event Closing - Gathering around the fire in the Big Garden for a Solstice celebration

6.00pm Event finishes
