Join us for a workshop on how to support wildlife through gardening at the lovely Toast Store in Shoreditch. We will talk you through the importance of biodiversity, with a focus on birds and pollinators and how various wildflowers are crucial to different species. You will learn how to make wildflower seed balls and get to make a selection to take home and plant in your local area.
The session will cover:
Simple things that you can do at home or in your local area to support wildlife
Gardening practices to support ecology using ethical and sustainable materials
Top tips for plants that can help support biodiversity including plants for pollinators and birds
How to make wildflower seed balls by mixing clay, compost and seeds and advice on how to plant them at home or in your local area. You will get to make a set of these to take home
This workshop takes place at Toast’s Shoreditch store: 42 Redchurch Street London E2 7DP.
