SOLD OUT - This class repeats on 31st October and 11th November
As a seasonal shift approaches and cooler weather descends on us it's time to start thinking about stocking our cupboards with herbal remedies that can support our bodies through the colder months. Enter Fire Cider - a warming and spicy tonic made from apple cider vinegar and a number of herbs, spices and vegetables. It is a popular remedy to make during the autumn and can be taken daily to keep your immune system strong and healthy, keeping illness at bay. After learning about the properties of the different ingredients you’ll get to make your own jar to take home and enjoy.
The session will cover:
- an introduction to a number of herbs that can support our bodies during winter
- how to make an infused vinegar
- different uses of apple cider vinegar
- how to combine apple cider vinegar, fresh herbs, roots and foods to make your own fire cider
Ticket price includes all materials, recipe handouts and light refreshments.
NB. Fire Cider is not alcoholic!
