Online Workshop: Growing Food on a Windowsill

  • Hackney Herbal ZOOM (map)

SOLD OUT - THIS SESSION IS RUNNING AGAIN ON JULY 18th

Who says you need to have a garden to grow your own food? Join us for an online workshop where we’ll be looking at how to grow food in small urban spaces -  from balconies to window ledges and windowsills.

We will look at herbs, salads and veg that grow well in containers, which ones tolerate being indoors, and what is suited for different spaces. We'll then go over how to start, maintain and harvest your crops.

We will also go over everything you need to know to start growing your own seed sprouts and microgreens, including different materials you can use, what seeds are suitable for each method and how to go about it.

Ticket price includes the 2-hour online session along with detailed handouts with recipes that will be emailed over to you. It also includes signposting to places where you can source materials from (for UK).

Group size limited to 12 people.

We will send out the Zoom link the day before the workshop. Please check your spam folders as it might end up in there!

Please note

Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds or date changes on purchased tickets unless these are made within 24 hours of you making a purchase.
