Nature Connection // Let Spring Be Your Guide
/Connecting with nature has been shown to help both our minds and bodies by helping to lower the heart rate, reduce stress, support immunity and increase feelings of wellbeing. Because we can’t run our new programme of nature connection activities this spring we are instead sharing some resources with you to do it yourself!
Amy, our Head of Nature, has created this guide to help you gain a deeper connection with the natural world around you. So next time you are out for your daily exercise have a go at one of the activities. You don’t necessarily have to be in a green space to do these, they can also be done indoors at an open window or in the space just outside your home. You can do them on your own or with those in your household (ie. the people who you are currently living) and they are suitable for all ages. You can even gather some of the materials and then complete the activities in the safety of your home.
If you are venturing out please be mindful of others around you and make sure to follow the government guidance of keeping 2 metres away from other people.

We would love to see what you find or the activities that you do so please share any pictures with us on social media @hackneyherbal
Enjoy what nature has to offer!
