We are having a Garden Open afternoon on May 29th, coinciding with Chelsea Fringe (an alternative gardens festival celebrating community and guerrilla gardening which takes place in the same week as the RHS Chelsea Flower Show).
We will have a small Plant Sale, with a selection of both culinary and medicinal herbs, and our handcrafted tea blends will also be available.
All plants were grown from seeds or cuttings of our existing plants and potted in peat-free compost in either plastic-free or reused pots. A list of the plants is available to view here.
We’ll also have some plastic-free pots available to purchase too.
Our Seed Swap boxes will be out as well, with a variety of seeds - some saved or sourced by us, and many brought in over two other seed swap events we had earlier this Spring.
The lovely Desiree will be with us for the afternoon offering Oracle readings, as well as bath rituals, spell jars and more herbal magick! If you’d like an oracle reading, it can be booked directly via her website here.
We will have a selection of lovely herbal teas and cake for sale. Please bring a cup or mug to help us avoid disposable cups.
So whether you'd like to get seeds, buy some plants, or just hang out in the herb garden, come and join us!
Notes for Seed Swap
Bought seeds and saved seeds are both welcome. All types of plants are welcome! Pop your seeds into an envelope and make sure they are labeled with plant name and variety (if you know it), when they were saved and where you grew them. Any other notes about them are also welcome! We will have a separate pile for old seeds.
